Information for Regional Championships

There will be NO entries on the day for U14, U16, Junior and Senior category events. Entry is restricted to riders resident in the BC South West Region & entrants must be minimum bronze members/provisional licence holders - there are no day surcharge facilities for regional championships.

Entries for this round must be made online using the British Cycling entry system*

* On the day entry will be available for U8, U10 & U12 age categories, however riders must still reside in the BC (British Cycling) South West Region.

This is a non counting round towards the SWCX league minimum & maximum round count & as such, no points will be awarded towards SWCX league standings.

Here’s how it works…

Entries aren’t automatically accepted like a normal SWCX round because of the regional restriction and refunding people is a tedious process.

The Events team will go through the online entries on Monday after the closing date has passed (Sunday 25th). That gives them time to check and refuse entry to anyone outside of the region there and then.

Once the event team have accepted the riders they’ll show as participants on the website.

For on the day - U12 entry's will be asked to show a valid BC license to prove eligibility. If they don't have one, it is suggested that some other form of ID such as a passport or anything else generic that has their details on be present.

As long as the U12 is resident in the SW they will be accepted, we won’t refuse any entry’s if they are residents of the SW so it is safe to go ahead and book accommodation if required.

Please see section 13, Mountain bikes ARE allowed.

Riders will be gridded according to their national ranking within the age category they have entered.

& also at the commissaires discretion
